Congressional Country Club

Location: Bethesda, MD

The Congressional Country Club is a golf course and country club that was established in 1924.  Since it’s opening, Congressional has hosted five major championship golf tournaments.  The founding life members include William Taft, Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, and Herbert Hoover.  Today, it is considered to be one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the world.

The work performed here was for the roof of the stone bar within the grounds of Congressional.  New Ludowici Spanish red tile was installed to match the existing tile.  In addition to this, Ludowici top fixtures, circular cover hips, and ridge tiles were installed.  All tile for this roof was installed using copper nails.

More than a roof. It's a legacy.
