Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic church located in Winchester, Virginia, that was founded in 1883 by German immigrants. The original church building was constructed in 1884 and was later replaced by a larger and more elaborate structure in 1911. The church is noted for its Gothic Revival architecture and stained glass windows, which were crafted by notable artisans. Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church has served as an important religious and social center in the Winchester community for over a century, and continues to offer a range of services and activities to its congregation and the wider community.
We restored the steeple roof, as well as installed a patterned slate roof with new North Country black, Vermont Unfading Red, and Vermont Unfading Green on the steeple. In addition, we custom fabricated all new lead coated copper flashings and crosses.
